Job summary

Eastern Education Group Trust seeks a Lecturer in Engineering with expertise in electrical and/or mechanical engineering for the University and Professional Development Centre (WSC) in Bury St Edmunds. The post involves teaching and assessing Higher Education Engineering up to degree level, along with Level 3 Apprenticeships, HNC and HND courses.

The successful candidate will hold relevant qualifications and have current industry experience in electrical and/or mechanical

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer with relevant discipline (electrical and/or mechanical).
• Experience or capability in teaching and assessing HE engineering.
• Ability to contextualise learning to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach and assess Higher Education Engineering up to degree level.
• Deliver industry-relevant teaching for related programmes (Level 3 Apprenticeships, HNC/HND).
• Develop and enhance courses and curriculum areas as appropriate.
• Provide learner support and guidance to ensure strong learner outcomes.
