Job summary

Reed is seeking an Engineering Lecturer for a fixed-term role at the Stretford Campus from September/October 2026 to January 2027. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching across BTEC Level 3 Engineering and HNC Level 4 Engineering, with responsibilities including lesson planning and assessments.

The ideal candidate will have an Engineering qualification and proven experience in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Mathematics, plus a recognised teaching qualification or willingness

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Engineering at FE level.
• Strong classroom management and organisation.
• Excellent communication skills and student support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons across BTEC Level 3 and HNC Level 4 Engineering programmes.
• Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments.
• Support and monitor student progress with constructive feedback.
