Unite Students is seeking a Web Engineering Lead to shape a major digital trading platform. You will own the Web Domain's architecture, standards, and health, driving technical direction and engineering excellence to deliver a secure, scalable platform.

Collaborate with technology leaders and external partners to raise standards and enable growth. The role combines strategic influence with hands-on leadership, focusing on performance, security and reliable delivery during high-activity periods.

Qualifications

• Experience leading the architecture and evolution of complex, customer-facing web platforms.
• Proven ability to drive engineering standards and influence multiple teams.
• Experience managing engineering partners and accountability for technical quality and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction and architectural roadmap for the Web Domain.
• Lead the move to a modern, headless, multi-brand architecture.
• Improve engineering practices, testing, CI/CD and release processes.
