Job summary

DeepCamp is seeking an Engineering Lead in the United Kingdom for a hybrid role. You will own technical direction, design scalable systems, and mentor engineers while coding and driving critical work from idea to production.

You will lead major initiatives across backend, frontend, APIs, and cloud infrastructure, balancing speed, reliability and cost. Collaboration with global teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.
• Deep expertise across backend, frontend, distributed systems, APIs, databases or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong system design and architecture skills for high-scale platforms.
• Proven track record leading major engineering projects from design through production.

Responsibilities

• Own technical design and execution for major products, systems and engineering initiatives.
• Design scalable, reliable systems across backend, frontend, APIs, databases and infrastructure.
• Code, prototype, review, debug and solve production problems.
• Drive architecture decisions and trade-offs for speed, scalability, reliability, cost and maintainability.
• Lead and mentor engineers across teams to raise engineering quality.
