Condé Nast is seeking an Engineering Lead to drive the Vogue products engineering effort. You will lead a team while contributing to production code, shaping architecture, and setting engineering standards. The role blends hands-on coding with strategic leadership, including mentoring engineers and advancing AI-assisted development.

You will collaborate with product and design partners to deliver scalable, brand-agnostic features and ensure robust performance across platforms.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a software engineer with production systems.
• Proven line management experience, including hiring and performance management.
• Hands-on coding with production code review and credible technical discussions.
• Strong fluency in JavaScript and modern web technologies.
• Experience shipping AI-powered product features and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction and hands-on delivery for Vogue products.
• Contribute to production code across back-end APIs and front-end components.
• Set architecture, design patterns and engineering standards for the team.
• Lead projects from ideation through maintenance and reviews.
• Collaborate with product/design and ensure clear stakeholder communication.
