Job summary

Condé Nast in London seeks an experienced engineering leader to help build the next generation of Vogue products. You will lead an engineering team focused on content discoverability, scalable, brand-agnostic solutions, and AI-enabled development practices.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep coding, design reviews, and collaboration with product and design partners to deliver impactful features across global brands.

Qualifications

• Significant software engineering experience with production systems.
• Proven line management including performance reviews and hiring.
• Hands-on with code reviews and architecture.
• Fluent in JavaScript and modern web tech.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to production code across back-end APIs and front-end components.
• Set technical direction for your team including architecture and standards.
• Lead projects from ideation through execution to maintenance.
• Participate in design and code reviews to raise the standard.
• Identify and resolve code, performance and usability issues.
• Evaluate AI tooling and set standards for use including security and data handling.
• Balance delivery with platform health and long-term maintainability.
