Job summary

Bally’s Intralot is seeking an Engineering Lead in the Sports domain to guide a team of engineers, while contributing hands-on when needed. You will work with the local Product Owner to ensure the backlog is delivered across the SDLC with an emphasis on delivering a customer experience we can be proud of.

You will balance technical leadership with mentoring, champion best practices, and drive continuous improvement to optimize team performance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Background in backend software development using Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with AWS, GraphQL, Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Coaching/mentoring team members to reach potential.
• Strong leadership and effective communication within leadership teams.
• Hands-on engineering experience to contribute as a developer/QA when needed.
• Champions software engineering best practices and drives quality.
