Job summary

You will partner with Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional teams to translate regulatory requirements into reliable, auditable platforms and to mentor engineers towards scalable, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data or software engineering.
• 2+ years leading engineering teams, ideally within fintech, marketplace, or high-growth tech environments.
• Hands-on experience with modern data infrastructure tools and strong knowledge of financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic roadmap and execution for accounting infrastructure, data pipelines, and automation platforms powering financial reporting and reconciliation.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, and cross-functional engineering to translate regulatory and operational requirements into auditable backend systems.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, setting technical direction and fostering a high-performance culture in a fast-moving financial environment.
• Drive improvements in data accuracy, pipeline reliability, and system scalability to enable faster close cycles and audit readiness.
