Job summary

Experis UK is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to own and evolve a scalable financial planning platform for a leading UK wealth management organisation. You will drive architecture, mentor teams, and guide delivery across CRM, data and wealth technology stacks.

The role focuses on integration with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, data platforms and middleware, while applying modern SDLC practices and AI-assisted development tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with iRESS Xplan configuration, customisation and integration.
• Proven leadership in software/platform engineering.
• Strong understanding of API design and enterprise integration patterns.

Salary: £45,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements

• We have strong experience with iRESS Xplan, including configuration, customisation and integration.
• We have proven leadership experience within software engineering or platform engineering environments.
• We have a strong understanding of API design and enterprise integration patterns.
• We have experience delivering solutions within regulated financial services environments.
• We have knowledge of cloud and middleware technologies, including serverless architectures.
• We have experience working with modern SDLC practices and Agile delivery methods.
• We have strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• We understand data platforms and operational data models.
• We have wealth management, private banking or investment platform experience.
• We have experience integrating Xplan with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
• We have knowledge of financial planning and adviser back-office processes.
• We have experience managing vendor relationships and influencing product roadmaps.
• We have a track record of building internal capability and reducing reliance on external implementation partners.
• We have exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
• We have experience developing AI-enabled or agentic solutions within financial services.
