Job summary

EDF Energy invites applications for a 12-month Engineering Industrial Placement at Bridgwater, UK, starting early September 2027. You'll gain hands-on experience on high-profile infrastructure work including the Hinkley Point C project and contribute to planning, delivery and safety-focused operations.

Under experienced mentorship, you will develop technical, analytical, and collaborative skills in a dynamic, safety-conscious environment that drives low-carbon energy and UK energy security.

Qualifications

• Studying toward or have achieved a degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Security Vetting will be required, usually needing UK residency for the past 3 of 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, construction delivery and programme controls on major projects.
• Assist with risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement and technical coordination.
• Contribute to safety initiatives and regulatory compliance activities during placement.
