EDF Energy invites applications for an Engineering Industrial Placement based on-site at Bridgwater, supporting Hinkley Point C. The 12-month placement begins in early September 2027, offering a starting salary of 26,050 per annum and exposure to major energy infrastructure projects.

You will work with experienced engineers, develop technical and collaborative skills, and contribute to safety and radiation protection initiatives within a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Eligible to undertake a UK security vetting process.
• Studying towards or having completed a relevant engineering degree.
• Interest in low-carbon energy and large-scale infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience on major projects at Hinkley Point C.
• Collaborate with mentors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to technical and safety-related activities.
• Support project planning, delivery, and coordination tasks.
