Job summary

Babcock is seeking an Improvement Manager at Devonport Royal Dockyard to support the 10 Dock Redevelopment Programme. You will identify, develop and implement improvements to processes and working practices across the project lifecycle, driving efficiency and delivery excellence.

The role is full time, 35 hours per week on site, with strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence multidisciplinary teams to achieve programme objectives. Security clearance (SC) is required.

Qualifications

• Experience on complex civil engineering, infrastructure or major programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across diverse teams.
• Proven ability to deliver measurable improvements through process optimisation and CI initiatives.
• Experience across technical, engineering and project delivery functions.
• Ability to influence and align multidisciplinary teams to meet programme objectives.

Responsibilities

• Review and improve project, engineering and delivery processes to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Lead improvement initiatives, workshops and working groups to embed best practice.
• Support the transition of information, deliverables and decisions from design through construction and commissioning.
• Build relationships across design organisations, programme teams, construction partners and customers to improve collaboration.
• Monitor and report on improvement activities, identify barriers and recommend solutions to senior leadership.
