Job summary

Babcock International in Plymouth (Devonport Dockyard) is seeking an Improvement Manager to drive efficiency across the project lifecycle. You will lead improvement initiatives, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and embed best practices in a regulated, major infrastructure environment.

The role focuses on identifying and implementing process improvements, collaborating with design, engineering, construction and customer teams to deliver on time and within quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex civil engineering, infrastructure or major programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management across diverse teams.
• Proven ability to deliver improvements through process optimisation.
• Experience across technical, engineering and project delivery functions.
• Ability to influence and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and improving project, engineering and delivery processes to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Leading improvement initiatives, workshops and working groups to embed best practices.
• Supporting transition of information and deliverables from design through to construction and commissioning.
