Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Engineering Geologist for a permanent role in Coventry. The position offers hybrid working with exposure to multidisciplinary teams and a broad range of geotechnical projects. The salary is competitive and a full benefits package is provided.

The successful candidate will plan field investigations, log soils and rocks, manage data and samples, and contribute to reports and risk assessments while collaborating with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• Degree in geology, engineering geology or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise ground investigations.
• Log soil and rock per industry standards.
• Manage site data, samples and laboratory testing.
• Support interpretative reporting and risk assessments.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
