Job summary
Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Engineering Geologist in Northampton to support a mix of ground investigation and environmental projects. The role involves working across site-based and office-based activities within a hybrid setup, managing investigations and preparing technical reports for delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering Geology or related field, strong communication and report-writing skills, and a willingness to travel for site visits.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication, organisational and report writing skills.
- Degree in Engineering Geology, Geology, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for site work.
Responsibilities
- Carry out and supervise ground investigation works on a variety of sites.
- Coordinate fieldwork activities and ensure technical standards are maintained.
- Manage subcontractors and external contractors throughout project delivery.
- Prepare factual and interpretative technical reports.
- Undertake contaminated land and geotechnical risk assessments.
- Assist with Phase I and Phase II site investigations.
