Job summary

IWSR Drinks Market Analysis Limited is seeking an Engineering Director to set the technical strategy and architecture for our data-driven platform. You will lead delivery across client platforms, internal tooling, and emerging data products while partnering with the Chief Product Officer and programme management.

The role requires strong technical leadership, delivery experience in data-intensive environments, and a track record of stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background with architectural and infrastructure awareness.
• Experience leading technology delivery in data-heavy or research-heavy settings.
• Excellent stakeholder management at executive and cross-functional levels.
• Genuine interest in AI with practical application in engineering contexts.
• Comfort working in a relatively small team with hands-on involvement.

Responsibilities

• Define technology strategy and roadmap in collaboration with product leadership.
• Own technical accountability for delivery across product portfolio; set standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with CPO, product managers, researchers and engineers.
• Lead AI enablement within engineering and integrate AI tools into workflows.
• Foster engineering standards, recruitment, and team development.
