Job summary

Thales OME in Reading, UK seeks an Engineering Delivery Manager to lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams and ensure delivery of complex development and production projects. You will work with Programme Managers and the Head of Engineering Delivery to meet customer needs.

The role requires a strong engineering background, excellent communication, and the ability to navigate a fast-moving environment with multiple parallel objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong background in engineering with multi-disciplinary delivery across complex projects.
• Experience leading engineering teams and coordinating with Programme Managers.
• Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle, processes and tools.
• Ability to operate in a fast-moving environment with multiple objectives and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-performing, multi-discipline engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Define delivery strategy and resource profiles based on engineering estimates for the project.
• Manage interfaces with the overall delivery strategy for the wider programme.
