Job summary

MTC Training in Oxford is seeking a Curriculum Leader (Higher Education) to implement a robust curriculum for in-centre delivery and work-based development of apprentices, including Level 4–6 HE courses. You will lead Engineering Trainers and Apprenticeship Skills Coaches, monitor progress, and ensure high-quality outcomes across all locations.

You will manage learners from start to EPA, drive safeguarding and quality, and collaborate with employer partners to shape development and progression

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in an education/training setting.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with learners, employers and colleagues.
• Experience delivering engineering curricula aligned to standards and awarding bodies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom theoretical engineering training aligned with awarding body and Skills England Engineering standard guidelines.
• Mark learner work and provide developmental feedback to support progression.
• Manage classroom learner issues and ensure compliance with MTC Training standards.
• Create learning resources and lesson plans to maximise learning time.
• Manage a caseload of engineering apprentices and monitor welfare and progression.
• Provide information, advice and guidance on skills development and career progression.
• Collaborate with employer partners to ensure apprenticeship progression and sustain business links.
