Qualifications

  • Engineering background preferred but not essential.

Job Description:

Location: Lancashire

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Join a well-established food manufacturer with a reputation for quality and consistency – but none of that happens without reliable equipment and smooth operations behind the scenes. That’s where you come in. We’re looking for a highly organised Engineering Coordinator to support our maintenance and engineering team by managing stock control and keeping our storeroom running like clockwork.

The role..

You’ll be responsible for ensuring critical parts, tools, and consumables are always available when our engineering team needs them. From raising purchase orders and monitoring stock levels to updating systems and coordinating with suppliers, you’ll play a vital role in minimizing production downtime. It’s a hands-on, varied position that requires good attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a solid understanding of engineering support in a fast-paced factory environment.

What we are looking for..

  • Engineering background preferred but not essential
  • 5+ Years’ experience within FMCG
  • A basic understanding of engineering parts and maintenance processes
  • Level 3 HACCP
  • Previous experience with VFFS and multi-headed weigher
