This is an exciting engineering opportunity for technically minded, ambitious, and progressive building services engineers seeking a new challenge. We are representing one of the UK's leading engineering consultancies, which is expanding its advisory team and looking for talented individuals to join their journey.

This role is ideal for candidates with a background in electrical or mechanical building services, HVAC engineering operations, and who are interested in transitioning into a more technical, in-house consultancy environment. The work spans multiple sectors including commercial, financial, banking, real estate, government, and private sector clients.

Candidate profile:

• Technically minded in electrical, mechanical, or air conditioning systems
• Experienced and knowledgeable in HVAC
• Ambitious, driven, and seeking career progression

• Articulate and excellent communicator at all levels

Key responsibilities (once experienced):

• Capturing M&E assets and creating asset registers
• Attending and conducting building survey reports
• Preparing TM44 reports
• Managing project issues
• Consulting on Capex and lifecycle recommendations
• Advising clients on external engineering tenders
• Compiling statutory compliance reports
• Conducting on-site surveys
• Preparing and interpreting engineering reports, drawings, and layouts
• Ensuring health and safety compliance
