HVAC Consultant Engineer – Engineering Advisory Consultant / SME

£45,000 to £50,000 Basic Salary depending on experience

Plus £8,000 Car allowance

Annual Bonus £6,000 to £12,000

We are recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's leading engineering consultancies, expanding its engineering advisory team. They are looking for the next rising stars to join their journey.

This position is ideal for individuals with a background in electrical and/or mechanical building services and HVAC engineering operations who wish to transition into a more technical, in-house consultancy environment. The role involves working across multiple sectors such as commercial blue-chip clients, financial and banking organizations, real estate managing agents, government organizations, and private sector clients.

Candidate requirements include:

• Technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, or air conditioning systems
• HVAC experience and knowledge
• Ambition and drive with a desire to progress
• Career-mindedness and eagerness for further training
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Key responsibilities (once experienced) include:

• Capturing M&E assets and creating asset registers
• Conducting building survey reports
• Preparing TM44 reports
• Managing project issues
• Consulting clients on Capex and lifecycle recommendations
• Advising on external specialist engineering tenders
• Compiling statutory compliance documentation
• Conducting on-site surveys
• Preparing Delap reports
• Preparing and interpreting engineering reports, drawings, layouts, etc.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance
