Job summary

Cedar is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join the in-house team, specialising in engineering and construction. You will own the full recruitment lifecycle, collaborating with hiring managers to design strategies and deliver high-quality candidates across blue- and white-collar roles.

Qualifications

• Proven recruitment consultancy or in-house recruitment experience.
• Experience recruiting in engineering, construction, infrastructure or related technical market.
• Strong sourcing and talent mapping skills.
• Confident with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Proactive approach to candidate generation beyond applications.
• Experience managing multiple vacancies and priorities.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Commercial mindset focused on recruitment objectives.
• Independent worker who contributes to a wider team.
• Genuine interest in long-term relationships with candidates and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy briefing to offer.
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
• Develop sourcing strategies and detailed recruitment briefs.
• Identify and approach high-quality engineering and construction candidates.
• Source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, databases and referrals.
• Build talent pipelines across blue- and white-collar roles.
• Engage passive candidates and nurture long-term relationships.
• Conduct detailed interviews and assess fit against role requirements.
• Oversee interviews, offers and candidate experience.
• Provide market insights on salaries and hiring trends.
• Collaborate with Recruitment Resourcer to maximise delivery.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and monitor time-to-hire.
• Develop long-term talent pools for current and future hiring.
