Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline plc is seeking an experienced Capital Projects Programme Manager at the Barnard Castle site. Qualifications

• Relevant degree-qualification and/or strong relevant experience in engineering/project delivery.
• Experience delivering capital projects in highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Capital Portfolio (typically £8–14M annual capital spend) aligned to site priorities.
• Lead multifunctional project teams including employees, contractors and partners.
• Provide leadership across all phases from concept to handover.
• Ensure projects comply with PMF, Project Controls, Finance Manual and governance.
• Drive programme performance through scope, cost, schedule, risks and change control.
• Build relationships with operations, quality, finance and EHS stakeholders.
