Job summary

Weston College, opening the Advanced Manufacturing Technical Excellence College in Filton, Bristol, is seeking a Training Co-ordinator - Engineering to support apprentice progression and development. Qualifications

• Experience of working with learners and/or employers on delivering learning programmes.
• Knowledge of work-based learning and apprenticeship provision.
• Experience working with learners to achieve outcomes.
• Experience in identifying and setting realistic targets and supporting learners to achieve them.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of learners and conduct regular review meetings with learners and employers to facilitate progress and development.
• Review the timely completion of actions in progress reviews by liaising with assessors and lecturers to ensure academic progress is being made.
• Ensure apprentices' progress in the workplace by identifying and planning opportunities that align with their off the job training.
• Produce bespoke apprenticeship Career Development Plans involving employers in progress reviews.
