Job summary

MBDA UK offers a General Engineering Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship starting September 2027 in Stevenage. You will study for an Engineering Manufacturing Technician Level 4 apprenticeship and an HNC in Engineering while gaining hands-on experience at MBDA.

You will rotate through placements over four years, with college-based study one day per week and onsite work the rest of the week. Travel expenses are paid, and a joining bonus is included.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths at Grade 5 minimum.
• GCSE English Language at Grade 4 minimum.
• At least 3 more GCSEs including a Science or Technology subject.
• Post-GCSE: 96 UCAS tariff points via A Levels, BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (MMM or above) with Maths, or T Level in Engineering with Merit.

Responsibilities

• Rotational placements across Mechanical Design, Missile Design, Manufacturing and Integration.
• Work on real MBDA projects at the Stevenage site.
• Study onsite at Cambridge Regional College and earn a Level 4 qualification.
