Job summary

MBDA UK Limited invites applications for the General Engineering Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship 2027 in Stevenage. You will study for an Engineering Manufacturing Technician Level 4 apprenticeship and an HNC while rotating through MBDA engineering teams and placements.

The programme begins September 2027 with a funded qualification, travel support, and a strong emphasis on hands-on learning in a collaborative environment. Eligible candidates will undergo BPSS checks after a conditional offer.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths grade 5 minimum.
• GCSE English Language grade 4 minimum.
• Three additional GCSEs at grade 4 including Science/Technology.
• Entry criteria: top three A Levels or equivalent (UCAS points vary).
• BTEC/EEE: Level 3 Extended Diploma MMM+ with Further Maths distinction.
• T Level in Engineering with Merit; criteria may vary by role.

Responsibilities

• Rotational placements across Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, and Systems Validation.
• Study on-site at Cambridge Regional College and work weeks at MBDA.
• Develop hands-on engineering knowledge in a state-of-the-art facility.
• Pursue professional qualifications through IMechE, IET or RAeS.
