Job summary

University of Sheffield AMRC Training Centre is seeking an experienced workplace coach to lead on-the-job and off-the-job learning for engineering and manufacturing apprenticeships. You will coordinate reviews at the apprentice's workplace, setting targets and assessing progress with input from employers.

Ideally, you will hold an engineering degree and have industrial experience, plus assessor/verifier qualifications or willingness to obtain them.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Industrial experience in engineering/manufacturing.
• Assessor/verifier qualifications or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on- and off-the-job learning and assessment for engineering/manufacturing apprenticeships.
• Set learning targets and assessments to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours.
• Conduct workplace reviews with apprentices and employer feedback.
