Job summary

North East Scotland College is seeking an experienced vocational assessor to assess the MA Engineering Vocational programme. The role is on full-time, permanent basis at Fraserburgh or Altens campuses.

You will assess engineering apprentices in the workplace, bring industry insight and ensure high-quality learner outcomes. The ideal candidate will hold SVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in engineering or substantial industrial experience, with assessor/verifier training and a commitment to continuous

• HNC level or equivalent in relevant subject area.
• SVQ Level 3 in engineering or 3 years industry experience.
• Assessor training qualifications (desirable).
• Verifier training qualifications (desirable).
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
