Job summary

Britvic plc in Leeds is recruiting an Engineering Apprentice for a four-year program. You will study full-time in Year 1 at Appris training centre, then progress to site-based training with day-release study in Years 2–4. The role may move to shift patterns, including nights, in Year 4.

The program builds mechanical, electrical and automation skills, with hands-on experience and ongoing development within our Engineering team. Applicants should be 18+ and meet residency and GCSE requirements.

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs at grades 4–9 (A*–C), including Maths, English and a science subject.
• Aged 18+ by start of second year to meet on-site health and safety requirements.
• UK resident for at least 3 years by start of apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Complete all college, apprenticeship and HNC learning requirements, keeping your portfolio up to date.
• Work safely and follow site requirements for health, safety, food safety, quality, hygiene and the environment.
• Build practical mechanical, electrical, controls and automation skills through supervised tasks.
