As an apprentice, you will develop skills in systems design and hardware engineering, rotating through disciplines to produce designs, estimates, programs, and work packages aligned with project requirements.

Degree Apprenticeship Program: Study towards a BEng in Railway Engineering at London South Bank University. This interdisciplinary course prepares you for designing, building, and managing complex rail systems.

Who we are looking for: Enthusiastic, motivated individuals with a passion for engineering and Hitachi Rail. Self-disciplined, proactive, and eager to learn, aiming to achieve a degree qualification.

Entry Requirements:

• BBB at A-Level including Maths and/or Physical Sciences (120 UCAS points)
• or BTEC DDM including Level 3 Maths and Physical Sciences (128 UCAS points)
• or EAL Extended Diploma in Engineering Technologies, D, with relevant modules
• or Access to HE with 24 Distinctions and 21 Merits, including Maths and Science subjects (122 UCAS points)
• or equivalent Level 3 qualifications with 120 UCAS points, including Maths and Science

Must also hold 5 GCSEs A-C including Maths and English or equivalent.
