Vacancy Description

1. The apprentice engineer will work on attaining and maintaining an up-to-date working knowledge of all processes and procedures related to facilities, including but not limited to cooling systems, access controls, fire suppression systems, etc.
2. Understand operational procedures and processes such as Risk Management Method Statements (RAMS), Maintenance Operating Procedures (MOPs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
3. Monitor and inspect buildings and equipment daily.
4. Perform maintenance tasks under supervision and undertake intrusive maintenance tasks with guidance from experienced engineers.
5. Assist in executing maintenance and repairs of buildings and equipment to minimize downtime.
6. Conduct quality checks related to facilities, including reviewing documentation, test reports, and follow-up tickets.
7. Support projects to identify root causes of facility issues.
8. React promptly to incidents and events that could impact critical infrastructure availability.
