Job summary

Spire Yale Hospital in Wrexham is seeking an experienced Engineering Administrator to join the Engineering team on a part-time, permanent basis. The role supports the Hospital Engineer in coordinating safety and compliance across estates and hospital structures.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 1 pm, with a salary of £12.26 per hour plus a comprehensive benefits package. The post offers opportunities for training and progression within a leading private healthcare group.

Qualifications

• PC literate and admin experience preferred.
• Strong administrative skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Confident telephone manner communicating with a wide range of customers.
• Ability to produce and analyse management information using software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate service visits for periodical assessment of engineering equipment, ensuring paperwork is in place.
• Coordinate work orders via Pirana and allocate tasks as required.
• Maintain asset register including servicing, contracts and faulty equipment identification.
• Assist Engineering Manager in organising training and maintaining the Training Matrix.

Spire Yale Hospital, Wrexham is currently looking for an experienced Administrator to join their Engineering team on a part-time, permanent basis.

As Engineering Administrator, you will be responsible to support the Hospital Engineer in coordinating and ensuring safety and compliance to the estates and hospital structure.

Duties and responsibilities (not limited to):

• Responsible for all engineering administration to support the Hospital Engineer including arranging service visits for periodical assessment of engineering equipment throughout the hospital. Ensure appropriate paperwork is in place for visits.
• Coordination of system requests for work orders via Pirana, ensuring allocation where required. This includes activities at various Spire sites.
• Ensuring the asset register is maintained on Pirana including servicing, contracts and faulty equipment identification.
• Responsible for the Purchase Orders process and liaising with third parties and suppliers.
• To assist the Engineering Manager in organising Training and ensuring the Training Matrix is maintained.

• PC literate
• Admin Experience preferred

• Confident telephone manner with the ability to communicate with a wide range of customers at all levels
• Ability to produce and analyse management information using appropriate software packages
• Flexibility to adapt to Business Office needs
