Job summary

Spire Yale Hospital in Wrexham is seeking a Bank Housekeeper to join our experienced housekeeping team. You will cover sickness, annual leave and busy periods on an as-and-when basis to help maintain the hospital’s high standard of cleanliness.

We offer flexible hours across various shifts and a zero-hours contract. The role provides £12.26 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package, including free uniform, DBS, and pension access.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required but you must communicate clearly with staff and patients.
• Personal appearance must be of a high standard for a healthcare environment.
• Experience in a similar role or customer-facing environment is desirable.
• Ability to establish rapport with customers and work as part of a team.
• Ability to work on own initiative with a methodical approach.
• Maintains high standards and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete cleaning schedules for the shift and ensure rooms and areas are clean and ready.
• Work in close liaison with clinical staff to meet hospital needs.

Spire Yale Hospital, Wrexham has an exciting opportunity for a Bank Housekeeper to join our dynamic and experienced Housekeeping team working on an as and when basis to help cover sickness, annual leave and busy period in our housekeeping team.

Working Hours:Various shifts available Monday through Sunday, flexibility is required
Contract type: Bank/Zero hours

As Housekeeper, you will be responsible to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the all areas of the hospital.

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Complete cleaning schedules related to the shift, ensuring rooms are ready set to the correct
  layout as needed and both offices and public areas are clean
• To work in close liaison with the clinical staff dealing with the varying needs of the hospital
• Compliance with all Health and Safety at Work Regulations including COSHH
