Job summary

Pertemps Crawley Perms is seeking a Final Assembly Technician to join our client’s production team in Crawley. You’ll build, test, and prepare high-spec machinery for international shipment, following exact drawings and tolerances.

You’ll work with standard hand, bench, and power tools, conduct quality checks, and help prepare units for on-site reassembly by field engineers. Training is provided and overtime is available.

Qualifications

• Strong practical mechanical aptitude and comfort using everyday workshop tools.
• Ability to read engineering drawings or follow detailed assembly instructions.
• High attention to detail—precision at this stage prevents delays for engineers on site.
• Willingness to learn; full equipment training provided.

• Assemble and test mechanical assemblies to technical drawings and exact tolerances.
• Conduct mechanical quality checks before sign-off.
• Carefully dismantle and pack approved units to ensure efficient reassembly by field engineers on-site overseas.
• Work safely and efficiently using standard hand, bench, and power tools.
