Job summary

MGroup Transport (Aviation) seeks a Project Engineer to join the Heathrow-based maintenance team. You will support civil/infrastructure assets, manage a reactive team, ensure safety and quality, and drive efficient delivery across multiple projects at the airport.

Based at the Heathrow Office, you will progress your career toward senior roles, partnering with site managers and liaising with clients and internal teams. A strong emphasis on safety and quality is core to this role.

Qualifications

• Site experience across civil/infrastructure projects is essential.
• Health and Safety and Environmental standards knowledge required.
• Proven ability to deliver technical civil engineering packages.
• Proficient with setting out instruments and survey methods.
• Interest in ICE professional qualification encouraged.
• Demonstrate values and behaviours of M Group Transport (Aviation).
• Strong commercial sense and presentation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret scopes, drawings and technical information.
• Excellent communication for client liaison and internal collaboration.
• Strong data management and quality control practices.
• Keep current with legislations and industry standards.
• SMSTS or equivalent Site Management Training.
• CSCS accreditation required.
• Full UK driving licence and a 5-year traceable employment history.
• Desirable: PAS128 understanding and other industry standards.
• Desirable: experience in GPR data analysis.
• Desirable: prior management experience.
• Desirable: Level 3 QCF Mapping & Survey.
• Desirable: experience in engineering and aviation sectors.

MGroup Transport (Aviation) are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Maintenance team. We are excited to present this new opportunity for a talented Civil Engineer Who is looking to be involved on a variety of challenging Engineering Projects.

Primarily supporting our Aviation client in Hounslow – this role is suitable for an experienced civil engineer looking to progress their career to the next level.

What will you be doing?

The Maintenance team provides technical services for a range of construction related disciplines, and activities, focused on delivering great service everyday supporting our clients’ primary assets to enable an extraordinary airport, fit for the future.

This role would be based out of our Heathrow Office and is suitable for existing Engineer or Experienced Supervisor looking to progress their career to the next level.

You’ll be supporting the Maintenance and Site Managers with expertise, managing and developing a reactive team in the quality and timely maintenance delivery for a variety of civil and infrastructure assets. You’ll also ensure workflow runs smoothly, ensure standard processes are followed by the team, review outputs for quality-controlled documentation, track performance, and manage software.

Ensuring excellent safety, standards and quality are maintained throughout the life cycle of the project.

• Proven capability in delivering technical packages on civil engineering schemes.
• Proficient in the use of setting out instruments.
