Carlton Hotel Singapore Pte Ltd seeks aMaintenance Engineer to support the Senior/Assistant Chief Engineer in daily operations at the property. You will schedule preventive and corrective maintenance, maintain records, and ensure smooth operation of all mechanical and electrical systems.

You will assist the Security team during fire drills, maintain the emergency generator, and supervise contractors to ensure quality and safety across all hotel facilities.

Formación

• Diploma/degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Facilities Engineering.
• Strong leadership, management and communication abilities.
• Fire Safety Manager / Green Mark certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assists Senior Engineer / Assistant Chief Engineer in day-to-day operations.
• Schedules preventive and corrective maintenance with records for equipment.
• Schedules maintenance for public area defects with proper control and logs.
• Assists Security during fire drills and for any fire matters.
• Maintains emergency generator and tests it every 15 days.
• Maintains plant equipment and facilities for efficient operation.
• Maintains swimming pool and equipment; tests water and logs results.
• Assigns daily work to Engineering staff and logs activities.
• Invites quotations for minor projects and supervises outsourced work.
• Manages contractors to ensure quality of work meets requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assists the Senior Engineer / Assistant Chief Engineer in the day-to-day operations
2. Schedules preventive and corrective maintenance and keeps records to maintain proper control and to ensure efficient and trouble free functioning of all mechanical and electrical equipment.
3. Schedules preventive and corrective maintenance and keeps records to maintain proper control to ensure efficient and trouble free functioning of all public area defects.
4. Assists Security department during fire drill exercise and for any fire matters.
5. Maintains emergency generator and conducts test run once every fifteen (15) days.
6. Maintains all plant equipment and facilities to ensure efficient operation.
7. Maintains swimming pool and equipment in good working condition. Tests pool water twice a daily and keep proper log record.
8. Assign work to Engineering Department personnel daily and keeps proper log of daily activities.
9. Invites quotation for minor projects, and jobs beyond the department’s capacity and supervises them with proper execution.
10. Manages contractors and ensure quality of work meets requirements.

Education & Work Experience

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Facilities Engineering
• Good leadership, management, supervisory and communication skills
• Preferably possesses a Fire Safety Manager, Singapore Certified Energy Manager / Green Mark Facilities Manager or Green Mark Manager Certification
