Pay Rate: Up to £21.35 per hour
Contract Length: 12 months (high potential for extension)
Hours: 37 hours/week, Monday-Thursday, 6:45am-4:30pm (Overtime opportunities on Fridays)

Are you passionate about engines and ready to be part of something big? Join our team in Stafford and play a key role in testing and validating our new 5000 series engine products.
Hands-on testing of diesel and gas engines for performance, durability, and emissions.
Stripping and rebuilding diesel engines as part of test procedures.
Using instrumentation like thermocouples, pressure transducers, flowmeters, and emissions analysers.
Supporting end-to-end test operations, including writing and executing test schedules.
Working closely with engineering teams to validate brand-new engine platforms.
Be part of a cutting-edge engine validation project.
Variety of engine tests and hands-on experience with new technologies.
Ongoing investment in facilities and testing infrastructure.

Must-Have Skills:
Mechanical/electrical experience with diesel engines (strip & rebuild).
Strong instrumentation knowledge (e.g., emissions equipment, flowmeters).
Preferred Experience:
3+ years in automotive, off-highway, or aerospace sectors.
Familiarity with test systems (DSG, Cadet, PUMA) and ECU controller software.
Qualifications:
City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in automotive mechanics or equivalent.
Higher qualifications such as HNC/HND/BEng are welcomed.
Soft Skills:
Highly motivated, hands-on, and team-oriented.
Strong interpersonal and customer-focused mindset.
