Job summary

Triumph Motorcycles in Hinckley is seeking a Development Technician/Development Engineer to join the Test Cells Department. You will conduct development, durability and conformity tests and support engine development through testing schedules.

You will prepare, install and maintain engines and test cell equipment, analyze results and report data quality. The role requires proactive collaboration with stakeholders and lasting contribution to engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Experience operating testbeds and engine calibration tools.
• Experience in Automotive/Manufacturing/Engineering environment.
• Ability to manage own workload and ensure data quality standards.
• Attendance at pre-test meetings with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engine tests including durability, calibration, performance, and mechanical development.
• Prepare, install, and maintain engines and test cell equipment.
• Analyse and report test results, ensuring data quality.
• Develop departmental procedures and support fault diagnosis.
• Assist with projects and other duties as required.
