Job summary

Norton Motorcycles, Inc. is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer – Engines to lead containment, root-cause analysis and permanent resolutions for engine and powertrain issues.

You will bridge customers, dealers, Aftersales, and Powertrain Engineering to drive robust corrective actions across field concerns. The role requires hands-on diagnostic work, data review, and collaboration with Manufacturing and Supply Quality to prevent recurrence and support new product launches.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Automotive/Powertrain or Manufacturing Engineering
• Strong understanding of engines and powertrain for motorcycles/automotive systems
• Experience in engine development, field quality, warranty or failure analysis

Responsibilities

• Act as the Customer Quality technical specialist for engine and powertrain field concerns.
• Investigate engine issues reported by customers, dealers, regional teams and field service personnel.
• Lead containment, root cause analysis and permanent resolution of engine-related concerns.
• Coordinate vehicle inspections, engine testing, component strip-downs and failure analysis.
• Review diagnostic data, test results, warranty claims and customer descriptions to identify failure patterns.
• Provide technical guidance and training to dealers and service teams.
• Support launches by identifying engine-related risks and ensuring launch controls.
