You will work with global teams, use lab, automation and HIL tools, test components, analyze data, and translate requirements into robust electrical solutions. Qualifications

• Embedded electronic systems knowledge in engine/powertrain control.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience defining electrical/electronic system requirements.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Understanding of product-development processes from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance electromechanical control systems for Caterpillar engines.
• Develop and test control system architectures for engine and hybrid power systems.
• Use laboratory, automation and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) tools to verify system and component behaviour.
• Analyse test data and help solve complex engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams across the UK, Europe, China, India and the United States.
