Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking an Engine Health Monitoring and Electronic Ground Support Equipment Engineer in Bristol, with hybrid working (minimum 3 days in-Office).

The role spans concept to in-service support, collaborating with systems, electronics, software and mechanical engineering to improve performance, reliability and maintainability of EHM capabilities and related EGSE solutions. You will lead end-to-end development and ensure compliance with standards across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM or equivalent engineering experience.
• EHM Systems design experience is desirable but not essential.
• Experience across the design lifecycle from requirements to implementation.
• Deliver against commitments with design, validation and verification.
• Apply systems engineering to multi-disciplinary mechanical/electronics/software problems.
• Knowledge of systems engineering and project management is advantageous.
• Collaborate across disciplines for system integration and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of EHM System and EGSE solutions to meet requirements.
• Align technology strategies across hardware, software and analytics within Lifecycle Engineering.
• Ensure solutions meet all standards and lead reviews for business, customer and technical needs.
• Prepare and deliver technical communications (presentations/reports).
• Identify requirements for new Engine Health Monitoring and EGSE equipment.
