Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Bristol is seeking an Engine Health Monitoring and Electronic Ground Support Equipment Engineer to join our Mature Defence team. You will contribute to the development of EHM capabilities and the design and delivery of EGSE.

You’ll work across the lifecycle—from concept and integration to verification, testing and in-service support—collaborating with experts in systems, electronics, software and mechanical engineering to improve performance, reliability and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM or equivalent engineering background.
• EHM design experience is desirable but not required.
• Experience across the design lifecycle from requirements to implementation.
• Ability to perform design, validation and verification work packages.
• Strong systems engineering foundations to solve multi-disciplinary problems.
• Knowledge of systems engineering and project management concepts.
• Collaborative work across disciplines to ensure proper system integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of EHM System and EGSE solutions to meet requirements.
• Align technology strategies across hardware, software and analytics.
• Ensure compliance with standards and lead reviews for stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver technical communications such as presentations or reports.
• Identify requirements for new Engine Health Monitoring and EGSE equipment.
