Job summary

Milk Education are seeking a confident Primary English Teacher to join a Croydon school from October. You will deliver engaging English lessons to the primary age range and plan reading, writing and grammar activities to support learners of different abilities.

This full-time, long-term role offers a supportive, collaborative team, opportunities to develop teaching practice and a strong focus on inclusive education.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong primary teaching experience.
• Confident delivering English across the primary age range.
• Good classroom and behaviour management.
• Able to differentiate effectively.
• Passionate about helping children achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality English lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Plan engaging reading, writing and grammar activities.
• Adapt teaching to support different learning needs.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress.
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
