Responsibilities

• Support pupils individually or in small groups to reinforce learning and promote progress.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, delivery and classroom organisation.
• Encourage pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural development.
• Help maintain a safe, supportive and stimulating learning environment.
• Support pupils with additional needs, following individual education or support plans where appropriate.
