Me Montessori in London is seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team. You will contribute to a safe, stimulating environment and deliver developmentally appropriate activities for young children.

The role requires patience, reliability and good English communication, with on‑the‑job training available for those without formal qualifications. A positive, proactive approach is essential to thrive in our busy nursery.

Qualifications

• Must be a hard worker with a European language
• Punctual, respectful and willing to learn
• Good command of English; childcare qualification is desirable but training can be provided

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, caring, stimulating environment for children in line with EYFS.
• Treat mobility as a consideration and inform management if any issues arise.
• Deliver a variety of age-appropriate activities for each child.
• Keep learning diaries and folders up to date.
• Build positive relationships with parents to support the child’s development.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery.
• Assist with meal service and kitchen duties as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in training and assessments.
• Follow all policies, risk assessments and confidentiality requirements.
• Support the Manager and Deputy Manager with duties as requested.
• Represent the nursery’s high standards at all times, both during work hours and outside
