Nexter Recruitment is partnering with a beautiful nursery in Allerton Bywater to recruit a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for a Montessori-inspired, child-led setting. You will join a permanent team in a calm, purposeful environment that values wellbeing, independence, and practical learning. Full on-the-job Montessori mentoring and training are provided.

The role offers a supportive, family-like atmosphere with ongoing professional development and strong partnerships with families.

Qualifications

• Qualified Level 3 Early Years Educator or equivalent childcare qualification.
• Warm, calm and nurturing approach to guiding behaviour and building confidence.
• Active interest in child-led learning and practical life experiences.
• Willing to learn Montessori practice with mentoring and training.

Responsabilités

• Create a Peaceful Environment to foster calm, orderly spaces where children feel secure.
• Champion Independence by guiding children with patience in the Montessori ethos.
• Introduce Hands-On Learning through sensory discovery and real-world activities.

We are seeking a caring, thoughtful Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their dedicated permanent team. Whether you already have experience with the Montessori approach or are simply an enthusiastic practitioner eager to learn with full on-the-job training, this setting offers a calm, purposeful environment where you can truly focus on quality practice.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner within this setting, you will:

• Create a Peaceful Environment: Foster a calm, orderly, and respectful space where every child feels secure, heard, and valued.

• Champion Independence: Guide children with patience and intention, embracing the core philosophy of “help me to do it myself.”

• Introduce Hands-On Learning: Guide children through sensory discovery, real-world practical life activities, and specialized natural materials.

• Individualized Observation: Carefully observe and respond to each child’s unique rhythm, interests, and developmental stages in line with the EYFS.

• Build Strong Connections: Foster warm, collaborative relationships with children, families, and your fellow educators.

• Maintain High Standards: Ensure continuous safeguarding, health and safety, and loving care across daily routines.

Requirements

About You

We are seeking an educator who is naturally reflective, patient, and excited about early childhood development:

• Qualified: Level 3 Early Years Educator, NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent full and relevant childcare qualification.

• Nurturing Nature: Warm, consistent, and calm in your approach to guiding behavior and building confidence.

• Child-Led Mindset: An active interest in child-led, independent learning and practical life experiences.

• Team Player: Supportive, collaborative, and clear in your communication with colleagues and parents.

• Eager to Learn: Montessori experience is desirable but not essential. Full mentoring and ongoing training in Montessori practice will be provided to the right practitioner.
