Job summary

TeacherActive in Oldbury is seeking a proactive Cover Supervisor to supervise classes across the secondary age range. You will deliver pre-planned work, manage behaviour and keep students engaged with learning.

The role starts September 2026 and offers daily rates of £110-£150. You will join a supportive team and have access to CPD courses and dedicated consultants to assist onboarding.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A flexible and adaptable approach.
• A positive 'can-do' attitude.
