Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. in Liverpool is seeking a Cover Supervisor to work in the St Helens area with secondary schools and October 2026 start. You will deliver lessons using provided materials and support students aged 11-16 in a busy school setting.

Role pays £100–£150 per day, inclusive of holiday pay, with a dedicated team of consultants, CPD courses, and a referral scheme. Excellent opportunity to gain school experience through trusted recruitment partners.

Qualifications

• Experience of group management of 11-18 year olds.
• Excellent and proven behaviour management experience.
• Shown commitment to learning and development of pupils.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver secondary subjects to ages 11-16.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and cover teaching using available resources within the classroom.
• Promote and push the students to achieve the expectations set in the absence of the teacher.
