Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. in Liverpool is seeking a Cover Supervisor to work in the St Helens area with secondary schools and October 2026 start. You will deliver lessons using provided materials and support students aged 11-16 in a busy school setting.

Cover Supervisor St Helens

Location: Liverpool

Pay: £100-£150 per day
Contract: Short-term, with potential to become permanent.

Start Date: ASAP

I am working with a number of secondary schools in the St. Helens area that require an engaging Cover Supervisor for roles starting in October 2026. The role is to work within a school setting, work will be provided and you will use it to deliver the lesson. The daily rate for this role is from £100 £150 per day. Pay rate is dependent on level of qualifications, experience and additional training. Advertised rate of pay is inclusive of holiday pay.

The ideal Cover Supervisor will have an outgoing personality and will maintain a high standard of classroom management, in order to keep students on task. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working in a school environment.

Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor
