Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking confident Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Liverpool and surrounding areas. This full-time role offers £90 - £120 per day, with immediate and upcoming starts available.

You will supervise classes during teacher absences, deliver pre-set lessons, manage behaviour, and support students to stay engaged with work, contributing to a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with secondary-aged pupils is desirable.
• Experience in education, coaching, youth work, tutoring, mentoring or similar roles is advantageous.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-set lessons across a range of subject areas.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Ensure students remain on task and engaged with their learning.
• Provide support and guidance to students where appropriate.
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
• Report back to teaching staff regarding student progress and behaviour.
• Build positive relationships with students and school staff.
